About the Foundation

The Hon. Sheikh Y. Jalloh Foundation is committed to investing in Liberia’s youth and communities through quality education, vocational training, leadership development, and civic engagement. We believe that empowered young people are the key to a better Liberia.

Youth from diverse backgrounds continue to inspire and shape our work. Their stories reveal the urgent needs within our society, and we respond by providing hope, support, and opportunities that help them thrive and lead meaningful lives.

Our Core Programs

We design and support impactful projects that transform the lives of underprivileged children and young people across Liberia and beyond empowering them with education, skills, and opportunities for a better future.

Education Support

Our Education Support program is dedicated to increasing access to quality learning for disadvantaged youth. We provide scholarships, school supplies, and invest in educational infrastructure to ensure that no child is left behind due to financial barriers. By building strong academic foundations, we empower the next generation of leaders and change-makers.

Skills & Livelihood Training

This program equips young people with practical skills in ICT, entrepreneurship, and various technical trades. By fostering innovation and self-reliance, we help youth build sustainable livelihoods and break free from cycles of poverty. Our training sessions are hands-on, market-driven, and aligned with real-world opportunities.

Leadership & Mentorship

Through leadership conferences, youth camps, and personalized mentorship, we nurture confidence, civic responsibility, and visionary thinking. Our goal is to raise bold, ethical leaders who will positively shape their communities and inspire others to lead with purpose and integrity.

Community Development

We engage youth in meaningful community service through clean-up campaigns, civic education drives, and volunteer initiatives. These activities promote active citizenship, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship, while strengthening the bond between youth and their communities.
